Piero (fraz. di Curiglia) Prov. di Varese – ITALY

Kedo Agritourism is in the little village of Piero, placed between the Varese pre-alps and the Swiss alps. It is a particularly interesting area for hikes and longer walks. There are many trails in the beeches and birches woods that overlook the Lugano lake and lake Maggiore. The area is rich in flora and fauna like deer, chamois, badgers, foxes, nighttime and daytime birds of prey. A few minutes away from Piero flows the Giona river with its clean and fresh waters.

Directions:

form Luino (VA) follow signs for Dumenza and then Curiglia, and go on towards Piero. Once you get to the end of the road there’s a big square where you can park. Continue by feet on the trail that leads to Piero (about 10 mins)
